Lets try to reset Onedrive

ane. Press the Windows primal + R.
In the Run window, enter: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

Later on ii or 3 minutes OneDrive should showtime by itself, sometimes does non open.

In the Run window, enter: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe

I am encountering a similar event. Onedrive seemingly gets stuck with a few .jpg files so information technology accumulates to hundreds, until it stalls and does not sync anymore. It is stuck for weeks at 0.0kb/sec.

I take attempted unlinking and relinking my PC from OneDrive also equally the /reset selection. This merely serves as a temporary fix, as in a solar day or and so the problem starts once again.

For years, I have had no issues with OneDrive before this summer.

I finally managed to solve this outcome by completely uninstalling OneDrive (Google "completely remove OneDrive") and reinstalling information technology from the latest version (Google "Onedrive download").

Its been about 5 weeks now and so far its uploading ok.

At this bespeak I am willing to give that option a attempt. I will certainly backup my files get-go.

Just this morning, after nonetheless some other /reset attempt OneDrive has gotten stuck again. Not only that, at present I have hundreds of indistinguishable files with the auto proper noun appended to the filename.

Well, I tried yesterday a complete uninstall and re-install to no avail. :(

OneDrive continues to go stuck when syncing. So far I have attempted the following, with no results:

• /reset OneDrive several times.
• Unlink my PC from OneDrive and re-running OneDrive initial setup.
• Updated OneDrive from xviii.151.0729.0012 to 18.172.0826.0010.
• Complete uninstall and re-install of OneDrive 18.151.0729.0012, which required a fresh setup.

Oddly, information technology gets stuck with some JPG files. I have no app (that I know off) accessing or locking those files, like a photo manager, editor or viewer. Simply scenario I can think of is another Windows process - such as a file indexer or antivirus (I am using Windows Defender). The Windows Photos app (when running I approximate) does some AI scanning on files, but I seldom utilise that app.

I am currently in contact with Microsoft Support, simply sent them my logs to see what is going on.

Have you tried resetting OneDrive? Unlink/Re-linkining your PC? What is the message that appears when it get stuck?

Subsequently the final reset, my OneDrive is at present stuck downloading 5.6gb of 5.6gb at 0.0 KB/southward.

So far I have kept in contact with Microsoft back up, sharing logs and other info. They are investigating, if it is a bug it seems to be a catchy one. From your browser, go to onedrive.com and you tin can open a support ticket.

For me Onedrive began to piece of work again later uninstalling Onedrive and and then installing the latest version once again.

Aye, I tried uninstalling Onedrive and so installing the latest versionbut soon afterward got OneDrive gets stuck once again this fourth dimension downloading at 0.0 KB/s. Still. Apparently that action forced virtually if non all pending changes (which amounted to a lot of files) to upload and at least photos taken from my phone synced back down to my PC. A slight improvement over not syncing at all.

Later some back and along communication, and sharing my logs, I got a message back from the Microsoft Back up team that apparently information technology is an event the engineering team has been made aware of and information technology will exist addressed "soon" in a time to come release, although they could not provideETA.

And then I am glad this is something which is known and being worked on.
